Randomness... Torchwood & Doctor Who

Wow.

I just finished watching all of Torchwood Season 1. Phew! That Captain Jack sure is a bundle of hotness!!

In a desperate need to finally understand all about his character, I discovered a fantastic bio at ... where else... wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Harkness

That explains so much.

I can't wait to finish Season 3 of Doctor Who!!

Now if only Channel 10 would not keep us waiting 45 freakin' minutes while they make Big Brother overrun! And now they're changing the timeslot to midnight on a freakin' Tuesday??? What, do you think you're the Aussie version of Fox, Network 10?? GRRRRRRRRRRR

Firefly Promotional Crate - on eBay for Equality Now

How cool! I'd seen this on eBay once years ago, but not since.

This was posted on LJ fireflyfans by the organiser for the Austin, Texas CSTS screening:

We are hosting a number of eBay and Silent Auctions for items that were donated to the cause.

(In case you are not familiar with Can't Stop The Serenity, please visit our global website:
http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/

A generous Browncoat donated one of the original Firefly Promotional Crates put together and sent to media, network execs and the like to raise awareness and "pimp" the (at the time) new show.

LJ Friends

I've been doing some housecleaning of my LJ, and since this is going to be less of a travel blog and more of a "me and my possibly worldly woes" blog, I've had to do a little "un-friending".

Please don't take it personally if I unfriended you - it's probably because my brain's addled and I can't exactly remember the person that goes with the username.

So if I've unfriended you in error, please let me know!!
